Sales Support Specialist - Econocom – Zaventem

Your role

As a Sales Support Specialist, you play a central role in ensuring a smooth and professional experience for our business partners and internal stakeholders.

You act as a key coordination point between Sales, Finance, Operations, and our external partners, supporting the full lifecycle of sales-related requests.

This role goes beyond pure administration. You work within structured procedures, but you also think proactively, communicate clearly, and help ensure that everything runs efficiently in a service-driven environment.

 

What you will do

  • Act as the main contact person for business partners and internal teams within the sales support scope
  • Provide administrative and operational support to the sales team
  • Register, process, and follow up on requests and applicationsthrough the full workflow, including validation with financial partners
  • Manage customer and partner communication via email and web portal, ensuring speed, clarity, and professionalism
  • Coordinate with internal departments such as Sales, Order Processing, Finance, and Operations
  • Prepare and manage documents using structured templates and standardized procedures
  • Monitor incoming and outgoing requests, documentation, and order statuses, and proactively resolve issues
  • Ensure strict compliance with internal procedures and company policies, working in a detailed and precise manner
  • Support the onboarding of new business partners, guiding them through tools, processes, and ways of working
  • Maintain an overview of contracts, ongoing files, and partnership-related communication
  • Contribute to continuous process improvement by identifying opportunities to optimize workflows and communication

 

What you bring to the table

  • At least 2 years of experience in a sales support, administrative, or coordination role
  • Experience in service-oriented environments such as banking, insurance, leasing, or similar sectors is a strong asset
  • A structured and process-oriented mindset, with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • Strong communication skills, with a customer- and partner-oriented approach
  • Ability to work independently, while also thriving in a close-knit team where collaboration is key
  • Languages: Very good knowledge of Dutch or French, with professional working knowledge of the other language
  • English is a plus
  • Comfortable working with Microsoft Office tools and web-based applications
  • No advanced financial calculations required; a basic understanding of financial concepts is sufficient
