As independent professionals, you are passionate about customer relationships, highly results-oriented, and excel at negotiations through to execution.As a Business Development Manager – Products & Services at Econocom, you will represent a portfolio of clients.You will act as a business leader to exclusively represent our products and services in the areas of workplace, infrastructure, networks, managed services, IT distribution, audiovisual solutions, and leasing to B2B key accounts, mid-sized companies, and large public organizations.Econocom has over 40 years of experience managing commercial agents — an outsourcing model that is central to our growth strategy.

As a true entrepreneur, you are responsible for developing sales, managing a client portfolio, and promoting Econocom’s products and services.

Your Key Responsibilities?

  • Prospect a list of client accounts for which you have an exclusive representation mandate.
  • Define and implement a prospecting and acquisition strategy to attract new customers.
  • Conduct market analysis and identify new opportunities.
  • Negotiate profitable deals with clients on behalf of Econocom.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting to contract closing for Econocom.
  • Build long-term relationships with clients and ensure their satisfaction.
  • Operate independently while benefiting from a partnership with Econocom, based on proximity and regular interaction.
  • Achieve and exceed ambitious revenue targets.

What do you already bring to the table?

You are an experienced salesperson, who aspires to become an entrepreneur, you are already an entrepreneur and you want to give your company a new impetus. In both cases, you have solid experience (> 10 years) in the IT distribution sector, leasing, managed services, networking, workplace, audiovisual, etc

You have a solid base of business skills:

  • Solid knowledge of the environment, products and/or services in the areas mentioned.
  • A mastery of the structure and dynamics of the markets, the evolution of customer needs, the offer and the actions of competitors,
  • An ability to analyze customer needs, to move from diagnosis to definition of the strategy to be implemented by controlling the entire sales cycle in solution mode (long and complex cycle)
  • An ability to translate and formalize business development opportunities within a customer account in an "Account Plan" type document,
  • An ability to demonstrate agility in the customer approach and to adapt its responses to the specific needs expressed,
  • An ability to monitor, steer and evaluate the actions implemented,
  • An excellent level of communication with customers, to understand their specific needs and respond to them individually,
  • A perfect knowledge of the offers and a solid ability to argue with conviction, by establishing a relationship of trust based on active listening to propose appropriate solutions,
  • A strong ability to negotiate, reconciling high standards and maintaining a good quality of customer relations, with a strong result orientation,
  • An ability to federate, motivate and mobilize stakeholders around a common project,
  • An ability to create, maintain and solicit a network,
  • An ability to work in a team, to solicit know-how and good practices to succeed together,
  • An ability to define and arbitrate priorities, to be autonomous in the management of your company
  • An ability to set ambitious objectives, manage and evaluate the actions implemented.
