Your Role?

As a licencing solution specialist, you are the expert in the field of license management within our company. You are responsible for managing, coordinating and optimizing our license portfolio. You will work closely with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored licensing solutions. In addition, you ensure that all license agreements are met and you are proactive in identifying opportunities for cost savings and process optimization.

As a licensing solution specialist, you will join our software procurement team at Econocom Products and Solutions. We are looking for 2 new colleagues for our team: a junior profile and a senior profile.

Your Key Responsibilities?

The role of a licensing solution specialist is crucial to the success of the organization, as it contributes to customer satisfaction and compliance with licensing terms. By providing consulting and license management, the specialist plays a critical role in growing the business and maximizing value for customers and the business.

You will be given the following tasks:

  • Identify and understand specific customer licensing needs.
  • Advise customers on appropriate licensing solutions and prepare tailored proposals
  • Manage licensing agreements and ensure renewals and extensions in a timely manner.
  • Negotiate license terms to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain license inventory and generate reports on license usage and costs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as sales, legal, and product development.

What do you already bring to the table?

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in information technology or a similar field. Or experience in a pre-sales support position (customer contact, planning, orders, contract follow-up).
  • Interest in new technologies and digital transformation.
  • Experience with Microsoft licensing solutions and programs is a plus.
  • Dutch and English (C2) both oral and written and a good knowledge of French.
  • Very good knowledge of Excel for the management of quotes and price lists.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Organizational and detail-oriented.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Technical ability to understand and solve complex licensing issues (contractual/legal texts).
  • Team player with strong collaborative skills
