To ensure Econocom's growth, we are looking for a Senior Business Manager.


As a Senior Business Manager, you define and implement your own business strategy. Your mission includes business development , recruitment and management of consultants as well as the management of a profit center (revenue growth and profitability).

Your Role?

  • Define and implement a proactive business development strategy focused on acquiring new clients and expanding market presence.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in line with company objectives.
  • Understand industry trends and client challenges to offer tailored, value-driven solutions.
  • Prospect and engage potential clients, build long-term relationships, and convert leads into sustainable partnerships.
  • Drive the full sales cycle: from lead generation, qualification, negotiation, to deal closing and client onboarding.
  • Manage customer relations and develop business opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Engage stakeholders (clients, consultants, etc.) and oversee the entire commercial cycle.
  • Ensure client acquisition, retention, and account growth by identifying opportunities and maximizing value.
  • Recruit and develop consultants to align with client needs and project goals.
  • Lead and support teams, ensuring their development and well-being.
  • Monitor project delivery and manage operational transitions (onboarding, inter-contracts, offboarding).
  • Manage a profit center by optimizing revenue, profitability, and long-term sustainability.
  • Handle urgent business situations (e.g., terminations, cancellations) while ensuring client satisfaction and operational continuity.



What do you already bring to the table?

  • You have 3 to 5 years' experience in recruitment and business development in technical sectors.
  • You have proven experience in team management and know how to demonstrate leadership.
  • You speak French and Dutch perfectly and demonstrate a very good knowledge of English.
  • You are able to anticipate needs and issues, allowing you to act quickly and efficiently.
  • You are results-oriented, and demonstrate diplomacy and persuasion in your professional exchanges.
  • You have a driver's license.
